    Requirements

    Mandatory
    - Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken (at least level 4/5);
    - Advanced VMware vSphere/ESX configuration and administration skills in medium to large enterprise environments (at least level 4/5);
    - Advanced Linux administration skills (at least level 4/5);
    - Solid Windows Server administration skills (at least level 3/5);
    - Solid understanding of networking concepts;
    - Experience with IT Security Compliance;
    - Experience with system management/monitoring tools;
    - Experience with operating systems services (NTP, DNS, SMTP);
    - Experience writing medium complexity scripts in at least one language: Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, Batch, PowerShell, etc.;
    - Experience providing support in medium to large scale infrastructure environments;
    - Experience using ticketing systems;
    - General understanding of ITIL/IT Service Management concepts;
    - Demonstrated ability to coordinate and work with global cross-functional teams;
    - Able to effectively work through high pressure and complex situations;
    - Demonstrated problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills;
    Nice to have
    - Experience with OpenStack
    - Professional certifications (e.g. RHCE, RHCSA, ITIL Foundation)

    Responsibilities

    The candidate will be part of a global support team providing steady state support and production operations for a major enterprise cloud offering (Infrastructure-as-a-Service). Candidates must be available to perform planned off-hours changes per approved change/maintenance windows, as well as on-call support by rotation (scheduled) and off-hours interventions for high severity incidents as needed.

    Responsibilities:
    - Managing VMware hypervisors and guests running on a worldwide enterprise cloud;
    - Interacting and working with both internal and external customers on issue resolution and new on-boardings;
    - Performing system administration activities on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Windows Server;
    - Managing systems to corporate compliance policies;
    - Administering and supporting cloud provisioning automation tools;
