Testing Team Leader

Euro-Testing Software Solutions is a privately-owned software company specialized in Full-Service Software Testing, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Identification & Management, Application and Data Security, Static & Dynamic Code Analysis as well as, DevOps/DevSecOps, Robotic Process Automation, Implementation and Customization for Atlassian and Micro Focus (HPE) products.

What you must have:
- Strong technological background, with degree level qualification in Computer Science or equivalent proven experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in System, Integration and Regression testing
- Test Team coordination experience of min 2 years
- Working knowledge of Test Management tools (HP Quality Centre/ALM preferably)
- Experience with PL/SQL
- Programming: C/C++, Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of structured test methods and processes
- Detailed knowledge of testing methodologies (Waterfall model/V model/Spiral model/RUP/Agile model/RAD)
- ISTQB foundation certification in Software testing (or equivalent) is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to quality and a thorough methodical approach to work

- Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites.
- Schedule the tests for execution and then they monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
- Ensure proper configuration management of the testware produced and traceability of the tests to the test basis.
- As test execution comes near, TTL make sure the test environment is put into place before test execution and managed during test execution.
- Estimate the test effort and team (size, skills, attitude and schedule)
- Identify any test metrics to be gathered
- Communicate with the client or on site team members, as required
- Assign tasks to the Software Test Engineers based on the software test plan
- Check the status of each assigned task daily and resolve any issues faced by the team members with their tasks
- Ensure that each team member is optimally occupied with work
- Re-assign the testing tasks, as required
- Track the assigned tasks with respect to the software test plan and the project schedule
- Assign returned defect reports and assist the concerned Software Test Engineer, as required
- Be approachable and available to the Software Test Engineers, as required by them
- Escalate and obtain resolution of the issues related to the test environment and team
- Plan, organize and lead team meetings and ensure action is taken based on the team discussions
- Identify the training requirements, plan and organize training for the Software Test Engineers
- Review the status reports of the Software Test Engineers
- Review the time logged by the Software Test Engineers for various activities
- Report the status to the stakeholders (e.g. the client, project manager/ test manager and the management)
- Keep the Software Test Engineers motivated
