Commercial Project Manager

A snapshot of your day:

Responsible for project planning and execution in close cooperation with project manager. Collaboration with technical colleagues and local businesses on commercial sales activities. Handling of business reporting and controlling topics (e.g. actual / forecast and closing activities among others).

• Support of the Finance team management within the functions of offer management and order execution as well as on reporting and controlling activities
• Analysis and commenting of contracts with internal and external suppliers as well as customers according to commercial, tax, insurance, and legal aspects.
• Preparation of calculations for quotation in collaboration with the technical colleagues and the regional companies as well as analysis of risks, and implementation of a professional currency management
• Implementation of bid releases by collecting the necessary information in time, including calculation, contract analysis and risk analysis
• Recognize the relevant movements in our SAP systems like order intake and invoicing towards the customer; allocate costs correctly.
• Monitor accounts receivables and claim them towards customers, handle payments via Letter of Credit
• Project execution: placing of purchase orders, processing of supplier invoices, monitoring the goods receipt and custodies, issuing of customer invoices, dealing with project bonds (for advance payments, performance, warranties), estimation of project KPI's
• Project's controlling: monitor project's costs and analyze variances against order intake; initiate corrections and clarifications.
• Create and provide support with several reporting topics using Dashboards (SAC, several Dash tools, etc)
• Collaboration in general reporting and controlling activities such as forecasting, (budget) planning, etc, checking numbers (actuals / forecast) on plausibility and comment
• Drive measurements to increase transparency and implement ???Preventive action??� activities
• Drive automatization / optimization of Free Cash Flow and Asset Management process and other topics

• A positive attitude and humor to strengthen our trustful collaboration within our team is key!
• A Bachelor�s or Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field (minimum 3-5 years experience)
• High affinity for digital tools (SAP, Spiridon, Microsoft Office, BA Dash, Alterix etc.)
• Intercultural sensitivity as well as team spirit
• First experiences in the systems business, ideally in the field of the energy sector
• Skillset to analyze and visualize complex Financial Data for several internal Stakeholders.
• Fluent language skills in English, other foreign languages are an advantage (German).
