RFQ Expert – Team Instructor

As an RFQ Expert - Team Instructor, you will focus on the tactical implementation of the procurement strategies defined in Corporate Commodity Management and based on the commodity strategy. You will work in a highly motivated team with a "doer" attitude where you help and support each other. You will solve short term/daily issues and create tremendous value for our factories and customers.

In parallel, you will work with global commodity management teams to develop and implement long-term improvement and development projects. You will become an expert in tactical execution, acceleration and supply chain performance management.

• Professional guidance of the RFQ team
• Ensuring the fulfillment of team goals
• Ensuring the quality standard of the RFQ team
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through the implementation of professional business partner management (internal and external)
• Further development of conceptual ideas and implementation of system solutions
• Identifying process improvements and implementing process improvements
• Work closely with global and local commodity managements and manufacturing sites to achieve maximum effectiveness in planning, aligning and executing sourcing activities.
• Obtain quotes (RFQs) for products needed.
• Continuously monitor and track requests created, create and update purchasing information records (PIRs).
• Continuous improvement of the inquiry processes.

• Completed studies in the field of business administration, (industrial) engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing
• Ability to communicate and work in a team, flexible approach to work
• Business fluent in German and English
• Confident handling of SAP (purchasing modules) and common MS Office applications
• Planning and organizational skills, pragmatic, solution-oriented approach, hands-on mentality
