Legal Specialist - Labor Law Expert

Job description

• Verify the legality of legal acts received for approval and resolve legal requests in the field of labor law;
• Providing advice and permanent information to the management of the company on legislative changes in the field of labor law;
• Representing the interests and defending the legitimate rights of the employer in relation to the employees' representatives and, if necessary, the union at the unit level;
• Drawing up the company's internal rules of organization and operation and codes of ethics and professional integrity;
• Drawing up internal procedures in relation to the provisions of labor legislation, concerning, but not limited to: equal opportunities, discrimination in the workplace, combating harassment, family protection, social responsibility, vocational training, leave policy, etc..;
• Drafting and/or endorsing individual employment contracts and related documents, as well as other documents specific to labor and social security legislation;
• Drawing up job descriptions and work rules;
• Participates in the conduct of preliminary disciplinary investigations of employees and draws up specific documents relating thereto, as well as, where appropriate, takes steps and draws up documents relating to the recovery of damages caused by employees;
• Drawing up documents concerning the termination of employees' individual employment contracts;
• Conciliation of individual labor disputes, formulation of responses for the settlement of individual claims or complaints of employees;
• Extra-judicial representation of the employer in relation to the labor authorities.

• University degree;
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation;
• Experience in a similar role of 3 years;
• Fluent in English, spoken and written;
• Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Power Point;
• Well organized, detail and result oriented;
• Analytical thinking;
• Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines;
• Ethic attitude towards the job and the company.
