We are looking for a C++ Developer to join our Randstad Digital Romania Team and be part of our
dynamic team in the railway transportation field.
Our application engineering team is seeking for an experienced software developer with good
understanding of software architecture and design issues as well as solid knowledge of C++, Linux
scripting (bash) and computer networks to join our team and contribute to the development of the future
railway systems.
The development will be performed in close co-operation with experts in Bucharest /Stuttgart and
requires occasional travelling between these locations.
 At least 4 years of experience in C++ development
 Experience with multiple programming languages / scripting languages is needed
 Very good know-how on: routing, TCP/IP, sockets
 Strong Linux skills (scripting, configuring)
 Good understanding of software architecture and design issues

Nice to have
 Exposure to Java SE / Eclipse RCP (or willing to learn it) would be a plus
 Databases (SQL) knowledge
 Exposure to Perl / Python would be a plus
 Experience in process oriented development (V-Model, Agile methods)

 As part of our team, your responsibilities will include:
o Design
o Implementation
o Unit test
o Testing
o Documentation

 Responsible for bug fixing;
 Activities related to the migration of the current system to a new Operating system;
 Addition of new functionalities.
