Manager MNO Certification Team

HARMAN designs, engineers and produces solutions for car manufacturers, consumers, and enterprises worldwide, including connected car systems, audio and visual products, enterprise automation solutions and connected services (IoT-solutions).

What You Need

Master degree in Engineering or related field and 4 years+ of experience MNO certifications or comparable discipline
2+ years of team/people management experience
Broad technical background with general knowledge of cellular technology, Bluetooth, WiFi and automotive requirements
Practical experience in related areas such as MNO certification processes
Extraordinary oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with business and
technology leaders.
Experience managing external and internal vendors/partners
Experience working in the technology industry or automotive industry
Ability to communicate to all levels of the business
Willingness to travel (up to 25% of his/her time).
What is nice to have:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other relevant (IT connected) specializations
Experience with infotainment / entertainment systems would be a big plus
Knowledge of UML and agile software development methods (SCRUM) would be a plus

What You Will Do:

Plan the work of the department/team involving deadlines, milestones and processes to be followed;
Evaluate and monitor department/team’s performance, determining the needs for improvements;
Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed;
Identify ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people;
Analyze reports prepared by his/her managers to determine progress and issues;
Keep HARMAN senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports and presentations;
Responsible for MNO certifications in time, budget and quality by managing related documentation and test requirement;
Where applicable, map MNO, HARMAN and customer specifications to create final test specification;
Collaborate with MNO, Local Representatives, engineering and test teams to ensure that product requirements are feasible, clear, complete, and testable to get MNO certifications;
Mainly act as an expert/consultant of the specified area – advise internal/external customer with best-practices;
Act as mentor or coach for less experienced engineers;
Act according the standards of the automotive industry and in-car applications and software development processes.
