Broadband Expansion Strategic Consultant

Compania ofera atat asistenta, cat și servicii convergente de voce fix-mobil, internet in banda larga și televiziune pentru cei aproximativ 5 milioane de clienti ai sai. De asemenea, gestioneaza infrastructura de retea ce cuprinde pana la 90.000 de km de fibra optica și conecteaza in jur de 3 milioane de gospodarii.

We are looking for a new collegue who provides consultancy and project management in the initiation, negotiation, contracting and development of telecommunications projects for broadband network expansion carried out at the level of the Technology and Information Corporate Group Romania

- Contributes with proposals to the definition of broadband network expansion plans to improve the local presence and with other companies or structures that could influence the telecommunications activity;
- Provides consultancy in establishing and monitoring the performance standards of the partners that implement the contracts;
- Analyzes and proposes ways to implement the projects carried out in the Technology and Information Corporate Group Romania;
- Provides consultancy in the planning, control, monitoring and management of activities related to the implementation of broadband network expansion telecommunications projects carried out at the level of the Technology and Information Corporate Group Romania in accordance with the design specifications and quality standards;
- Provides consulting to the network monetization team, when defining the implementation criteria;
- Provides consultancy from the Technology and Information Corporate Group Romania when defining the network performance criteria (time to market launch, coverage, average speed, reliability, monitoring customer perception - use cases, innovation, differentiation, customers)
- Analyzes and proposes solutions regarding the annual costs associated with the network development activities, in order to keep the expenses within the established limits;
- Contributes to the definition and implementation of rules and procedures to ensure compliance with the legal framework and company policies,
- Performs any other tasks set by the direct superior, in accordance with the nature of the position and its area of expertise;

Required:

- A completed Technical Bachelor’s Degree;
- Over 10 years of experience in the field of telecommunications
- Expertise in telecommunications technologies - access, base, IP
- Experience in managing the accounts of residential telecommunications clients
- Multi-year expertise at senior level in the development (planning and implementation) of fiber optic networks, both in the transport and access segments
- Multi-year experience at senior level in the development of network monitoring systems
- Experience leading network development teams, including project management and contractor coordination;


Knowledge, skills & abilities:

- Excellent knowledge of different telecommunications technologies and systems;
- In-depth knowledge and track record related to all types of high-band technologies, in the transport and access segments
- Good knowledge of the specific legislation in the field of telecommunications;
- Skills for coordinating large telecommunications projects;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in business development, customer relations;
- The ability to correctly identify and manage the interests of the participants in the developed projects;
- Analytical thinking;
- The ability to synthesize;
- The ability to write and speak fluently in English;
- PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Projects;
- Integrity and professional ethics;
- Good verbal and written communication skills, persuasion and assertiveness;
- Active person, very organized and structured, able to coordinate and manage several strategic initiatives at the same time.
