PHP Developer (Symfony)

For our business partner, a fast-growing software company that is already known in the market for several cool apps and websites, we are currently recruiting a PHP Developer. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact the evolution of competitive products by creating, optimizing, and extending features that bring value to the end-users.


Requirements

At least 4 years of experience working in a similar role;
Experience working with Symfony PHP web framework;
Proficiency with MySQL, Rest API;
Knowledge of Apache/Nginx and Unix/Linux;
Experience with RabbitMQ or Pub/Sub;
Logical, analytical, and conceptual thinking, with a general proactive attitude, oriented towards solving problems;
Ability to prioritize and work simultaneously on several requirements;
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.


Nice to have

Experience with unit testing;
Knowledge of a Front-end framework ( JavaScript/ReactJS / Angular / VueJS);
Experience with containerization: Docker & Docker-Compose, Kubernetes;
Know-how of Google Cloud/ AWS/ Azure.

Main responsibilities

Develop apps and websites of various complexity according to agreed specifications;
Design, implement and support multiple applications across various platforms;
Stay in tune with the latest technologies; proactively identify areas for improvement and propose viable solutions;
Closely collaborate with other team members, and customers;
Focus on code quality, security, and maintainability;
Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.
