Bosch Automotive Blaj is a production unit that started its activity in 2007, under Bosch Rexroth division, for Industrial Technology sector. The plant grew fast, in terms of both buildings and products, and starting with 2012 it began to produce for Automotive Industry, specifically for Chassis Control System and Powertrain Solutions.

Our associates give great innovation and quality that is why, from 2020, Bosch Blaj will be lead plant for knock sensors. Blaj is one of the three plants in Europe where NOx Sensors are produced, sensors that are part of Bosch revolutionary innovation in diesel technology.

Your contribution to something big:

• Performs production related duties in order to make sure that production meets the required standards and quality rules for all products
• Maintains a high level of quality regarding production lines and processes
• Creates or edits working standards and working instructions, performs process confirmation
• Organizes and planes production capacities
• Tracks actions and processes of improvement
• Ensures the continuity of production by coordinating the key players in the production line (point of use provider, team leader, shift leader, scrap analyzer)
• Manages the correct use of raw materials stocks, FG materials and auxiliary materials for production
• Prepares the release documents for existing projects (production lines, part number, products)
• Makes sure that all tools, equipment and software necessary for production, are available for the products manufacturing
• Describes problems and possible causes or gives inputs from the production line, in order to solve internal and external defects
• Responsible for recruiting the personnel in collaboration with Human Resources department
• Defines the training plan for new employees and / or delivers the trainings already defined, in order to ensure compliance with existing standards
• Gives support, trains and coaches team leaders and shift leaders for the evaluation of the employees, according to internal procedures
• Actively participates, (prepares data, presentations) for customer visits
• Is responsible for meetings results and organization, regarding FMEA and control plan
• Responsible for the Key Performance Indicators within the assigned production lines
• Responsible for document control
• Responsible for duties fulfillment of the employees in his /her direct coordination, as well as for the compliance with the existing rules
• Is a member or coordinates the internal networking of professionals - e.g. Problem solving team
• Contributes to productivity increase, by optimizing and rationalizing resources in the production line
