The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's largest Digital hub for strategic #tech projects.

Must have:
 BS/MS/Ph.D. degree in computer science / mathematics or related
 2+ years of relevant work experience in international organizations as contributor
 Proven participation in 1+ data driven projects delivery (as contributor)
 Extensive knowledge of Python
 Knowledge of PySpark
 Experienced with visualization packages (Power BI, Tableau, etc….)
 SQL query language proficiency
 Extensive knowledge and practical experience in Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Recommender Systems
 Strong communication & leadership skills (ability to work in complex organizations)

Nice to have:
 Experience with Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, no transactional Databases
 Experience with Databricks or similar
 Data processing and computation frameworks: Kafka Streams, Storm, Spark, Flink, Beam, Akka, etc
 Cloud platforms: Azure (or AWS, Google Cloud)

This role would be to be an active member of head-quarter’s Data Science & Analytics center of expertise and personally contribute to major data-driven projects creation (by being an active part in new and existing DS projects worldwide).

Responsibilities include:
 Active engagement in key proof of concepts design and delivery as DS contributor
 Animation of Data Science business requirements workshops
 Identification, integration and enrichment of data sources
 Data preparation & analysis
 Modeling & algorithms
 Data restitution / Data visualization
 Determine and monitor project’s KPIs
 Results communication
 Support (contribute to) Edenred’s group community of Data Science practice
 Internal and external communication of the team’s achievements
 Technology scanning to propose innovative solutions and to explore new opportunities
