Model-Based Design Engineer

Perfect Candidate • Good Domain knowledge on Powertrain systems - Engine Management Systems (Diesel/ Gasoline) / Transmission System (AMT/DCT) • Strong knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink based model development, algorithm and controller design, and verification of Powertrain system. • Strong experience in product development using MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder/RTW, and associated control system toolboxes, IBM, Rhapsody Doors/ ClearCase, Reactis, CANalyser, CANoe, and dSPACE TargetLink, etc. • Strong fundamentals in Automotive Powertrain Functional Design. • Experience working in CAN/LIN/FlexRay Protocols, Vehicle Architecture, and Diagnostics. • Knowledge of MIL, SIL, and PIL and automated test environment development. • Knowledge of ISO26262, AUTOSAR, MISRA, and MAAB Modelling guidelines. Responsibilities • Requirements analysis of Powertrain functions. • Design and Development of Powertrain function and Software. • Model-Based Development using Matlab/Simulink modeling/State Flow • Perform plant modeling and controller development to prove-out Powertrain features and electronic functions. • Carry out mathematical modeling of physical systems and develop models with Plug and Play architecture. • Perform Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) and model-based MIL/SIL/PIL/HIL validations for system functionality. • Implement automated testing tools to validate models through simulation and model checking. • Perform the expert-level review, resolve and debug the model design issues, design challenges, and ensure conformance with the model standards (AUTOSAR, ISO26262, MISRA) and guidelines. • Generate automatic production code using EC/RTW/Target-link optimized for the product architecture. • Investigate requirements and design solutions, generate value-addition by leveraging model-based-design in Automotive Technology Development Process Company Benefits • Opportunity to work in a young and dynamic environment • Attractive benefits package • Relocation package • Lunch tickets • Fitness deduction • Transportation deducted • Health insurance and dental scheme • Opportunity to develop and learn constantly • Access to internal training (job related and soft skills training) We process this data for recruitment purposes only.
