    Short task description

    Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, increase automation level of deployment activities, make the deployments work on the operations side and tackle integrations. Migrate engineering environments from private to public clouds, manage new services and application updates. DevOps engineers must also display basic knowledge of at least one development or scripting languages, like Java or Python.

    Job responsibilities include:

    • Design and construct CI/CD pipelines, optimize and constantly improve the CI/CD process via continuous improvement activities;

    • Provide guidance and support to development teams on how to automate application and infrastructure deployment;

    • Help to diagnose and resolve issues within our integration and development environments;

    • Automation of processes like deployment, update and orchestration for CI/CD;

    • Work with an automation first mindset and work to instill that in others;

    • Documentation of functionalities and work results;

    • Develop and integrate new Ansible blueprints to add new features;

    • Keep up to date and learning new technologies to improve yourself and the capabilities of the team;

    The development will be performed in a professional environment in close co-operation with experts from Germany (Stuttgart, Berlin) and Austria (Wien).

    Requested technical competencies:

    • Knowledge of CI/CD engineering practices (eg. Jenkins) and “pipeline-as-code” implementations (Jenkinsfile, YAML);

    • Experience with Linux command line, Packaging and file systems;

    • Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Perl or Python;

    • Experience with container & orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes;

    • Basic knowledge of any of the IaC stack - Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or Chef;

    • Experience with Bitbucket or Gitlab, Nexus or Artifactory, SonarQube;

    • Basic experience with monitoring DevOps platforms/tools like ELK, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.

    Would be a plus:

    • Experience with software build systems (GNU Makefile, Maven or Gradle);

    • Knowledge of Change Management;

    • Experience with version control tools;

    • User experience in Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud solutions;

    • Basic knowledge of OpenStack, Ceph or CloudFoundry;

    • Basic networking experience;

    • Working experience with agile development methods (Scrum).


    • Technical study of Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Electronics or similar).
