Job Summary :

Oracle IT are expanding the team responsible for developing enhancements to existing service monitoring and developing proactive solutions to issues affecting service quality and service performance of our critical corporate-wide internal & external services. Utilizing new internal tools and technologies to streamline processes, automate workloads & identifying opportunities for improvement that impact our employees & customers.
The focus will be on critical corporate-wide cloud services (e.g. Zoom, Azure, Slack, etc.) and Oracle’s migration from on-premise to cloud telephony. This team will also develop a reporting capability to enable analyses of consumption, quality and costs to a user level and develop end-user facing automated functions to enhance the user experience

What You’ll Work With:

Oracle IT Communication & Collaboration team implements and maintains a wide array of technologies to provide enterprise level collaboration for Oracle’s Employees. With both on-premises & cloud-based collaboration platforms there is the opportunity to improve services to our customers using the latest technologies on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Your Challenge:

• Identify opportunities to improve processes with the use of new technologies & methodologies
• Design, develop and advocate proper API interfaces and design patterns
• Work with DevOps technologies to automate delivery pipelines for applications
• Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources.

What We Require:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Python and/or Java development.
• Working knowledge of web-based application architectures and frameworks (including Angular or React)
• Experience designing, developing, troubleshooting RESTful API & interface specifications.
• Experience working with DevOps pipelines continuous integration/delivery.
• Good knowledge of Linux with experience in developing, designing and configuring a cloud infrastructure.
• Fluent in English
• Have a software-centric mindset
• Understand the full software stack
• Embrace automation over manual effort
• Translate the technical into business language
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
