Piping Mechanical Design Engineer

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering - ideally in Mechanical Engineering;
• Good knowledge of SolidWorks: Part (solid, weldment, Piping) Assembly and Drafting;
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D;
• Understanding of process requirements, ability to interpret process P&ID’s;
• Understanding of piping specifications and ability to translate into piping isometrics;
• Strong communication, teamwork, collaboration and commitment to quality make for a quality fit;
• English level required: intermediate.

• Engineering and Design of machinery, mechanical systems, components, piping systems;
• Engineering calculations associated with thermodynamics / heat transfer, fluid dynamics;
• Acting as technical adviser during installations and construction;
• Being involved in engineering processes associated with industrial / manufacturing systems;
• Being responsible for production of 2D plant layout drawings in AutoCAD;
• Designing of piping support;
• Checking of piping design documents, including checking isometrics.
