Software Functional Safety Engineer

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

• Experience in developing automotive SW products;
• Experience with SW design, coding, static analysis (e.g. MISRA);
• Experience in a requirements driven process;
• Knowledge of SW testing methodologies;
• ISO26262 basic knowledge or similar safety standards (IEC61508);
• Safety analyses: FTA, FMEA, DFA;
• Experience with SW architecture modelling;
• Experience with System modelling (preferably SysML/UML).

• Contributing to new product definition, from concept to full specification of HW & SW, with full ownership of the functional safety aspects;
• Supporting the prepare of the product for formal assessment and ultimately final certification;
• Helping architects include safety requirements into SW architecture, propose SW safety mechanism;
• Conducting SW FMEAs or support team in conducting such activities;
• Supporting the internal FuSa assessments;
• Compiling Safety Manuals based on assumptions from FMEAs;
• Supporting HW team compile FMEDAs;
• Contributing to the FuSa expert community within NXP
