    Requirements

    Education (degree) and professional experience required:
    • Bachelor degree with more than three years relevant business experience or equivalent or entry level of University Degree (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.)

    Other requirements:
    • Fluent in English language
    • Comfortable with project life cycle, experience with project management tools appreciated
    • Knowledge of accounting principles (internal and external)

    DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Account Operations Lead

    Job Description:
    Provides advanced administrative support to Pointnext Mgmt. and Sales team throughout the whole life cycle of Pointnext deals. Responsible for the administrative project office and is an expert in the administrative field. Partner to the PN business managers and sales. Acts as link between PN business, controllership, other businesses and their respective F&A organizations. Ensures HPE policy and processes fulfillment.

    Able to analyze and solve problems of medium to high complexity in multiple fields. Works in a remote environment and is able to apply procedures with little supervision. Influences the activities of others to reach an agreement. Acts as a support function for the business and ESEA and Central Europe countries. Manages customer documentation. Proactively provides deep support to account managers in administrative matters. Takes the right admin decisions in critical situation.

    Job specifics/responsibilities:
    Supports the preparation of quotes and presales
    • Cooperation with the BPO center in Chennai in the presales phase
    • Deals with contract renewals and amendments
    • Local contact for MNSA and Global Deal Assessment
    • Interface to PN Sales as front office operation
    • Handling of upfront orders (support services orders) and project business

    Performing Engagements:
    • Receives order, executes order entry and commission booking
    • Invoices customers based on contract terms and conditions and change requests
    • Manages control reports for order and invoicing (backlog, open orders)
    • Closely cooperates with Global Deal Teams, Controllership, and Business
    • Adapts global deal requirements to ESEA needs
    • Support financial analyst in the forecasting process
    • Cooperates with and supports ESEA Financial Analyst
    • Support other local EG businesses where necessary
    • Cooperates and supports other Global Operations functions
    • Operational Excellence Review
    • Acts as an interface to partners

    Key deliverables/accountabilities:
    Completing Engagements:
    • Maintains contracts/project files in accordance with the business control policies
    • Validates invoicing before sending to the customers
    • Support financial reporting and forecasting process
    • Consolidates order entries for planning and forecast purposes
    • Ensures order reconciliation between business programs, new and renew orders

    Business Planning:
    • Provides financial reporting after month end closing (where applicable)
    • Supports Business/Financial Analyst in entering financial plans into administrative tools
    • Supports Business/Financial Analyst in maintaining rolling forecasts

    Business Control:
    • Applies order acceptance and order entry guidelines
    • Checks existence of authorization forms (credit checks, pricing, risk assessments) and correct approvals
    • Integrates and applies the business control policies
    • Ensures that the project file meets audit requirements
    • Retains records according to local and corporate policies
    • Provides in time information to meet business deadlines and targets
    • Applies approval matrices
    • Supports BMS, ISO Certification
