Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• University degree in engineering or IT
• At least 3 years’ experience in dealing with large, corporate customers in a technical solution design or consultancy role
• CCNA / CCDA certification or equivalent certification with technical knowledge of
 LAN Technology (Ethernet, Wi-Fi)
 WAN Access Technology (xDSL, Ethernet, SDH)
 IP Networking
 Voice Networking
• Basic or advanced knowledge in at least one or two of the following areas:
 Unified Communications
 Managed Services, Cloud / Hosting
 Security
 Mobile Data and Connectivity
 Switching and routing technologies
• Excellent English skills

Nice to have technical / professional qualifications:
 CCNP / CCDP certification or equivalent certification of benefit, but not essential
 Practical experience of CISCO and Juniper
 International experience desirable (working internationally and / or working with global solutions)

Role purpose:

 To provide the detailed technical design and develop complex customer solutions for high-profile accounts – this includes solutions from an evolving set of data products and services, but with particular emphasis on fixed connectivity incl. (global) IP VPN and unified communications;
 Working closely with High-Level Solution Consultants, external partners as well as local Technical Solution Architects and local Network Engineers from various markets during the Pre-Sales and Build phase to ensure that innovative solutions are developed that meet customer requirements and can be implemented with minimum business disruption; focusing on technical aspects and coordination of interfaces;
 Assuring development of the solution in time and at quality levels agreed with the customer, providing technical leadership and implementation support;
 Resolving technical problems potentially encountered by enterprise customers as they integrate with company data solutions.
