Chief Accountant

For our client a multinational company we are looking for a Chief Accountant.

At minimum a Bachelors degree in Economics;
5 years of experience in finance/accounting, including strong background and experience in statutory reporting for legal entity based in Romania
CECCAR certified accountant;
Business negotiable English language skills are required
Demonstrated knowledge of all relevant GAAP reporting requirements

The Chief Accountant is responsible for the day to day financial control;
Ensure a well-defined accounting evidence in accordance with the rules and the requests complying with legislation and internal procedures;
Ensure accounting policies align with all GAAP and statutory requirements;
Responsible for all statutory reporting;
Responsible for the day to day financial control, cash flow and payable;
Providing all planning inputs into the global budget planning process to ensure all costs, risks and opportunities;
Ensure accounting policies align with all GAAP and statutory requirements
Represent the company in case of financial-accounting controls from the authorities.
