Senior Quality Specialist (maternity cover)

Since SAP Innovative Business Solutions is planning to grow its business significantly, we are looking for experts to further strengthen our execution teams. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS As a Senior Quality Specialist, you will perform the planning of quality assurance activities needed in projects including quality goals, test strategy, effort estimation, timing, test tools, setup of test environment, test data management and resources. You will organize, prepare and create reports for all testing ceremonies like: Internal testing, Module Integration testing, Acceptance testing, Usability testing. You will also keep an eye over the reported incidents during these testing ceremonies. The Senior Quality Specialist will analyze the test results and take appropriate follow-up actions. You serve as a subject matter expert for teams in terms of quality assurance and test related processes, methods and tools and initiate process or tool improvements. The position requires a good combination of business and technical know-how. Currently, our team focuses on the development of SAP Product Lifecycle Costing – an SAP HANA-based solution for product costing. Excellent user experience, high speed, deep integration with SAP ERP and strong extensibility support are the unique selling propositions. We develop this solution based on SAP’s in-memory database SAP HANA using SQL and JavaScript/Java for the backend and Microsoft C#/WPF for the frontend. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES / WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science or comparable experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role
• Strong experience in test automation, manual testing, and test-driven development
• Strong experience in module integration testing, acceptance testing and usability testing
• Good understanding of technology, especially test automation tools (e.g. Telerik Test Studio)
• Familiar with issue tracking tools (e.g. SAP BCP, Jira) as well with test monitoring and reporting tools (e.g. SAP GTP)
• Prepare and moderate reviews (specification, design etc.) and perform the follow up tracking of the review results.
• Creates, monitors and executes automated tests: API, UI and performance tests.
• Performs formal quality checks of deliverables for the customer before the handover to the customer.
• Participate in functional test execution.
• Should have excellent business and communication skills and be able to work with business owners to implement and drive quality goals. This position involves regular communication with senior management on quality program status and risks.
• Conduct the four eyes principle with the project manager and/or the delivery manager.
