Electrical Designer

REQUIREMENTS

- BS degree preferable in power engineering field
- MS Degree in physical or electrical testingmeasurements, electrotechnical background (Un 1 kV)
- ANRE II A+B is a must, or at least eligible to achieve such on short term
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in power supply industry, preferably telecom
- Experience with low currents DC side (-48 V) and corresponding switchgear
- Autocad 2015 2D electrical or newer version
- Microsoft Office package (Outlook, Excel and Power Point) above average

RESPONSABILITIES

- Supporting RD activities through material research, cost estimates and strategical sourcing while achieving cost efficiency KPI provided by HQ Technical Support Group for each specific component of interest, in the given deadline
- Participating at international fairs for potential partners technical validation sourcing
Analyzing the suppliers components specifications for diverse technologies (industrial electrochemical batteries, sensors (fuel, water) protection devices, regulation conversion systems inverters rectifiers for on-grid off-grid systems in conjunction with PV panels, PV structures, Wind turbines, Diesel Generators ACDC, Fuel cells etc.)
Along with the partners he engages in collecting, interpreting, diagnosing the points of failure and launching reports of test assessments and advising on optimizing the equipments usages
- Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them
- Send to partners technical RFQs, RFPs, IFBs analyze offers from technical and commercial point of view
- Challenge partners by visiting their factories and ensuring deliveries are according - Maintain a rigorous inventory (datasheets, manuals, etc.) of all assets to be sourced or in progress to be validated
- Follows RMAs procedures till the very end step with partners, ensuring Camusat warranty is properly enforced
- Support purchasers and logisticians for proper understanding of products to be purchased transported and provide them with specific technical documents (MSDS, CO certificate, CE certificate, EMC certificate, Serial numbers etc.)
