Software Dev CSA

Your day to day: This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of the CSA (Consolidated Spend Analytics) platform to process and transform Vodafone OPA carrier billing data for downstream applications. The role typically involves having a strong knowledge and understanding of Telco carrier billing outputs and ETL know-how to transform, map and normalize the data to a standard format for downstream analytics and reporting.   With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:  

• Impact Assessments and Estimates
• Low-Level Designs (functional and non-functional specifications)
• 3rd line support and fault resolution
• Bug fixes and software workarounds
• Well-structured code and applications
• Unit test plans and results
• System Test and results
• Review HLD, Test strategy, approach and test specification

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field
• 2-5 years’ proven hands-on ETL, Perl and Linux
• 2+ years Oracle DB experience in a Linux environment
• 2 year experience in developing and maintenance of custom webapps using Java/Java
• Able to document process flow diagrams, functional vs. non-functional specifications, and database
• relational models
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
• Informatica PowerCenter experience is a big plus
• Experience with Git
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, SaFe)
• Minimum experience in Jira, Confluence
• Ability to pick up new tools quickly
