- Good understanding of OOP principles/practices/patterns (experience with any OOP language e.g. Java/C#/Python)

You’ll be part of a Luxoft team of ~10 members based in Bucharest which works alongside multiple other teams based in New Jersey in a multinational environment.
We’re working in an Agile manner, with 3-week Sprints and release after each Sprint.
We're developing an Analytics solution designed for big Telecom Carriers.
The application allows for network traffic analysis in hybrid physical/virtual networks, having capabilities like real-time monitoring of live networks, reporting for historical-data and alerting for thresholds violations.
At the heart of the solution stands Vertica DB, a data warehouse SQL type database.
With the help of Collector components, data throughout all the network is gathered and stored in the warehouse.
From there, specialized ETL processes perform the extract-transform-load operations and compute different KPIs which reflect the health state and quality of the services exposed by that network (e.g. Voice, Data, VoLTE, etc.).
All the processing is done in the back-end part of the solution which is Java 8+ based, using different well-known frameworks and technologies like Hibernate, Kafka, etc.
The processed data is exposed through REST web-services.
