    METRO SYSTEMS Romania is a subsidiary of METRO SYSTEMS Germany. Since 2006, when METRO SYSTEMS Romania was established in Bucharest, the number of employees has increased steadily to 800. The second office was founded in Brasov in 2014.


    You are a great fit if you have:

    •University degree in information technology or comparable education;
    •Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office suites;
    •Experience with installing, configuring and repairing Microsoft Windows Operating Systems;
    •Experience with troubleshooting computers and laptops;
    •Ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently
    •Ability to understand and prioritize the needs of the customer
    •High interest in continuous learning and development (new tools, technologies, methodologies)
    •Willingness to take over different roles in international and cross-functional teams
    •Self-motivation to achieve consistently high quality results
    •Ability to think out of the box and challenge the status quo

    What we’re looking for?

    • Provides support and solutions for Information Technology products and services to end users and clients from Metro Systems Cluj Napoca site;
    •Take over, register and solve user requests or incidents via various communication channels;
    •Records problem information into the ticketing system. Updates tickets with appropriate entries of activities, and closes tickets with resolution entered upon completion of the job.
    •Troubleshoot operating systems, applications’ connectivity, printing systems or other IT user related issues;
    •Answer to question by teaching or instructing end users regarding software or hardware functionality and IT policy;
    •Determines the most effective manner to resolve the technical issue. Engages in research and in-depth troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
    •Deploy and configure computers, software and other related IT equipment, following the internal predefined procedures;
    •Management of control access and time attendance system.
    •Hardware “break-fix" and service & management of various fleets of IT equipment.
    •Evaluates and monitors performance of hardware (desktops, laptops) and propose appropriate actions
    •Assist with audio & video hardware and software configuration, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
    •Consult and escalates complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate support units and systems engineers for further resolution.
    •Performs and maintain hardware inventorying of all IT related assets.
