As PM you will contribute to IT Advisory client engagements, by implementing custom development projects to EY clients. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You will also identify potential business opportunities for Ernst & Young within existing engagements, and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you will anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.
In line with Ernst & Young's commitment to quality, you will confirm that work is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. As an influential member of the team, you will help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.
Deliver IT Advisory engagements, having focus on open source software development;
Work effectively as a manager and team member, coordinating teams for delivery, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress;
Review and/or prepare deliverables to clients;
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients;
Build strong internal relationships within Ernst & Young Advisory Services and with other services across the organization;
Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff;
Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting and retaining IT Advisory professionals;
Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff;
Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures;
At least 5 years of experience as Project Manager for software development or other digital initiatives consulting, having participated in at least 3 long term projects;
At least 7 years’ experience in software solution delivery;
Open source technologies knowledge required;
Additional professional certificates as TOGAF, COBIT, CBAP, ITIL are a plus;
People manager skills and sales skills are an advantage;
Good communication and problem solving skills;
University degree or an equivalent technical/IT education;
Good team player;
