• Programming with Java, JavaScript, SQL, CSS, HTML
• Experience with developing web applications
• Previous work with web servers (Tomcat, GlassFish, WebSphere, JBoss, Node.js)
• Previous work with databases: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.
• Communicative and collaborative attitude

Your Team:

Now the team is composed of 8 active software developers based in Bucharest that work on projects from all European countries (mainly from Germany, France, UK, Italy, Nordics, Middle East). They help and learn from each other to use to notch software technologies.
The team is part of a larger division of European presales of approx. 150 software engineers spread all over Europe that work together and team dynamically based on projects.

Your Impact:

The position plays a key role in the sales process of IOT solutions by PTC or its partners. The engineer will engage to develop applications to prove the value of ThingWorx platform (the IOT platform of PTC) to the customers.
The platform can be used to integrate enterprise applications, data clouds, field devices, factory equipment.
The solutions created can be any combination of web based application, augmented reality and machine learning.

Your Day-To-Day:

The day-to-day activities are various and each day has unique challenges. Routine is not part of our work.
Daily activities include:
- Develop software applications for presales opportunities
- Deliver tailored demos to customers
- Advise and guide partner engineers
- Answer technical question from the customer (RFx)
- Team with other software engineers in the company to build generic solutions for various industries
- Add new features to the platform by creating new backend and front-end software components
