Feature Engineer

Euro-Testing Software Solutions is a privately-owned software company specialized in Full-Service Software Testing, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Identification & Management, Application and Data Security, Static & Dynamic Code Analysis as well as, DevOps/DevSecOps, Robotic Process Automation, Implementation and Customization for Atlassian and Micro Focus (HPE) products.

Minimum 7 years of experience as a technical analyst for complex projects spread across multiple applications and departments
Hands on knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies such as SQL
Hands on experience with business requirements management, diagrams, and technical analysis documents
Experience with test case elaboration and management
Experience working in a SCRUM Agile environment is a bonus
Familiar with automated testing, automated deployment, application security requirements, user access management
Eager to learn and continuously improve your technical skills

Participate in cross-teams projects and ensure business requirements are translated into technical specifications as features or user stories (what is needed, for whom, why, till when)
Help elaborate and document the technical solutions considering the project requirements
Assist with the elaboration and refinement of the requirements to ensure they are granular enough for the squads to deliver within a sprint (two-week interval)
Assist the internal development team or the external providers in understanding the project requirements. Validate the delivered patches before User Acceptance Testing and correct any deviations from the technical specifications
Help the team in fulfilling IT Governance requirements, such as technical documentation, monitoring of vulnerabilities management and other technical aspects related to the applications in the team’s scope
Help in planning the technical project steps, organizing deliverables, run and support activities to ensure the SLAs and KPIs agreed
Participates in the Agile ceremonies, stand-up, planning and retro
Manage business requests by proactively communicating on progress, impediments, and priorities

The position is in the IT Finance & Risk area. This area has several financial applications in the portfolio, serving accounting and regulatory reporting purposes. For the following year, we are also planning to implement a Finance & Risk Data mart.
The team has the following structure: 2 Level 2 support team members, 2 application administrators, 1 feature engineer and 1 Chapter Lead. The IT team works closely with the Finance team in an agile way.
The Feature Engineer Proficient will be responsible with tackling complex projects, that spread across multiple teams and applications. Such projects may include regulatory requirements with impact on multiple applications across the bank, group requests and application changes that impact local processes, IT Governance and security requirements as well as many others.
The role will help with the planning of the technical project steps, in translating business and functional needs into concrete deliverables ensuring scalability, reliability, compliance and security considering entire range of applications and the team capabilities.
