Role Profile

The Sustainable Investment Data platform is a web-based solution based on Microsoft technologies consisting of various modules. The application supports data capture, reporting and analytical capabilities. The Sustainable Investment Data platform is built for research has expanded over the years to include data collection and operational activities to support existing and new index products. The SID platform is being modernized and improved to meet the growing demand for the product.

Role Description

We are looking for a full-stack developer with strong programming experience who will play an integral role in the ongoing application & data analysis, design, development, integration, improvements, and maintenance of the platform which will span a broad range of UI, data, and backend functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other developers to rapidly build, test, and deploy code
• Participate in and contribute towards code reviews, bug/issue triage, and documentation
• Develop scalable, reusable software components in line with architectural standards.
• Develop module-based user interfaces of high quality
• Implement automated test-unit and integration tests for continuous integration and maintenance
• Responsible for solving problems and application support issues
• Responsible for ensuring non-functional requirements (such as performance, auditing, security, and support) are considered during development.
• Responsible for technical analysis and producing documentation.
• Participate in agile ceremonies: Sprint planning, Scrum, Sprint demo, retrospectives, etc.

Work Experience

• 2+ years of commercial experience in Software development
• Experience with front-end UI development using Microsoft .Net technologies
• Solid experience with SQL Server, with tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Knowledge of the Azure Cloud platform
• Experience with DI and TDD is nice to have
• Knowledge and practical application of Design Patterns and Practices is nice to have
• Basic Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• ASP.net MVC or Angular
• REST API (Open API/Swagger)
• SQL Server
• TypeScript, JavaScript and jQuery
• HTML5, CSS, and CSS pre-processors (LESS, SASS, etc.), responsive design
• Git

Non-Technical Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and "can-do" demeanour
• Attention to details
• Good interpersonal skills with a key ability to work with an Agile team and display collaboration

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or IT-related field or equivalent IT-related experience
