Mechatronics Development Engineer (E-Mobility Division)

Requirements

Studies:
Final degree preferably in Mechatronics or other Technical University (Automotive engineering, robotics, machine construction, etc)

Experience:
Advanced knowledge in automotive mechatronics design more than 4 years
Advanced CAD design knowledge; CREO Design experience

Language:
Fluent written and spoken English required, German knowledge is a plus

Soft skills:
Good communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team
Systematic, analytical and target oriented way of working

Responsibilities

- Interdisciplinary cooperation with specialist departments and experts (hardware, systems, prototyping, production)
- Responsible for 3D Design, drawings, BOMs according to product and component requirements
- Advanced experience in plastic injection molding, aluminum die cast and Sheetmetal components for Automotive components
- Calculations, simulations, tolerance stacks
- Create, maintenance and release of necessary mechatronic development documents
- Proof of requirements fulfillment of proposed design
- Plausibility check (installation space, distance, wall thickness, conformity of data)
- Cooperation with purchasing department (Technical Work Books, Supplier Conventions)
- Support problem resolution management (analyze/evaluate samples)
- Ensuring of function-securing measures (simulations, FMEAs, FEM-calculations,…) ​
