Senior Purchaser in Prototype Shop

You will interact with many stakeholders from the international team, with suppliers and OEMs, driving the purchasing activity of our Timisoara sample shop.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform Purchasing activities for sample builds planned in Prototype Shop:

• Leads the samples sourcing team and ensure that activity per discipline is assigned and finalized in time;
• Source the suppliers together with project team;
• Negotiate with suppliers the price and delivery time;
• Approve shopping carts, create Purchase Orders and send them to suppliers;
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure that initial agreement terms are kept;
• Create and present reports to the designated persons, track KPI's and achieve targets;
• Understand and deliver stakeholders expectations;
• Interface to both internal and external partners (suppliers and customers);
• Ensure early involvement of purchasing and suppliers;
• Collaborate closely with Advanced Purchasing;
• Push design to cost process to attain the targets, implementation of potential savings in the project;
• Project support for optimum inputs for quotes, workshops, BOM evaluation.
