Position overview

We are looking for experienced C++ Developers to join our team in a challenging project in the automotive field.

The project is in a collaboration with a lead car manufacturer to release a complex system concerning connected cars. This system involves multiple technologies such as Infotainment, Connectivity, Microsoft Cloud services, Android/ iOS phones.

In this project you will working on development and maintenance of the new generation of Infotainment systems based on latest Android Car releases from Google.

To achieve success in this role, we will provide Android AOSP training supported by our technical experts and mentoring in the activities.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in C++ development;
Solid knowledge in Linux OS;
Minimal interactions with Java;
Willingness to learn Android AOSP development;

Plan and develop robust solutions for Framework development on AOSP based environment in Automotive;
Develop Java middleware services and components in AOSP to support embedded Android applications for an IVI system;
Design, document, integrate, and test APIs that provide services for handling video data;
Troubleshoot defects and elaborate robust software solutions.

Skills landscape after the training:

Services: Java, solid Android background, Java test/mocking frameworks, AAFW toolset;
Video Framework – Core: solid C++17, Gtest, CMake, Unix system development;
Video Framework – Android: solid Android background, EGL, graphical HALS (Gralloc …);
Video Framework – Plugins: solid Android background, AAFW toolset, Android build tools;
Video Framework – Rendering: solid modern C++, OpenGL, EGL, Gtest, OpenCL/CUDA is a plus.
