Business Controller for Electrification

Business Controlling Division Electrification Solution is searching for a talent (m/f/d) to support the Product Lines with solid financial analysis & calculations as a basis for management decisions.

Business Controlling is responsible for driving the future profitability of the business with detailed cost and price knowledge. The main goal is to understand, evaluate and track the development of the manufacturing costs and sales price and drive the achievement of the target costs to secure the economic future of the business.

The Business Controller (m/f/d) acts as a financial navigator and business partner for the Project Manager, helping to steer the project with success.

Your new Responsibilities:

• Calculation of all commercial responses to our customers (quote calculation, change requests);
• Project cost calculation from acquisition and development phase until start of production;
• Support improvement actions during series production for selected products which do not meet targets;
• Support budget preparation by deriving targets for upcoming budget year;
• Gap analysis & facilitator of the cost reduction process;
• Support Project Managers with financial analysis of their project;
• Manage the Open Book Policy and support of claim requests from/to customers & suppliers.

Your Qualifications:

• Degree in economics, business administration, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification;
• Long-term experience in project controlling, in similar area or long-term engineering experience;
• Several years of experience in purchasing or industrial engineering;
• Confident in using MS Office software;
• Fluent English language skills (written and spoken);
• Strong communication & team skills;
• High level of initiative & common sense.
