Tax Manager

TGS Romania, is the Romanian practice of TGS Global. TGS is represented in Romania by two successful firms Fidexpert Audit & TPG Group. Both companies have been active in the Romanian market for a considerable number of years (Fidexpert since 1994 and TPG from 2009).

We have an employment force of 80 professionals (certified accountants, certified auditors, certified fiscal consultants) who have been trained to cater for the requirements of the most demanding clients.

We are looking for a Tax Manager to deliver a full range of quality tax services. You will serve as business advisor to our clients aiming at maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative outcomes.

Requirements and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Experience in working in taxation field of 6 years + (tax manager or similar role)
• Extensive knowledge of tax legislation, tax compliance work and all types of tax returns
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Very good command of English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong client service and the ability to develop client relationships
• Good management skills, time management and problem-solving person

• Building and maintaining business relationships, interacting with clients to provide qualitative advisory, consulting, and expertise tax services.
• Coordinating members of the tax team to ensure that projects are performed accurately and delivered in due time.
• Managing multiple projects efficiently
• Identifying tax problems and developing solutions
• Informing the internal staff of changes and news in tax legislation.
