The Romanian office was established in 1992 and now employs over 450 professionals, providing services to a diverse range of local and international clients. Deloitte in Romania is one of the 17 national practices grouped together to form our regional firm, Deloitte Central Europe.

Since 2006 we are located in a state-of-the-art office building in Victoriei Square in Bucharest with excellent facilities that allows you to interact with colleagues across the firm in an open space environment.

In 2008, Deloitte has settled premises in the territory - Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara.

Audit & Advisory

Recent new events and more stringent internal controls make the Audit role in Deloitte more critical than ever before. We are able to provide our clients with timely insights on business conditions as well as assist them in assessing their financial and operational readiness.


As one of the important tax practices in the region, you’ll help your clients incorporate tax changes into their overall business strategy. Our professionals offer advice on: strategic tax guidance, international and M&A tax structuring, corporate taxation, indirect taxes and individual / expatriate taxation.


We offer expertise and a broad spectrum of service offerings that enable us to provide high value business advice on a range of issues pertaining to strategy and operations, human capital, finance transformation and technology, from developing solutions to implementation.

Financial Advisory  

Through our Financial Advisory business line we offer expertise in areas like: corporate finance advisory, M&A transaction support, valuation and business modeling.

Enterprise Risk Services

Every year, we organize Graduate Recruitment in Legal, Audit and Tax, to give students and graduates the chance to join our team and start their career.

The recruitment season starts in October and continues through the academic year, with the selection process usually being conducted in April-May.

Successful recruits will start work with Deloitte in the summer, at a mutually convenient time after graduation.

There might be other open jobs, programs and internships for students and graduates during the year, and these will be punctually announced on Job Search sections.

Selection process at Deloitte usually consists of a few stages:

     1. Submitting your job-specific profile

All you have to do is to visit our Career opportunities website, select your open positions from the list and create a user ID and password and also provide a complete application form, including a cover letter and CV.

     2. Initial screen

Your application will be reviewed by the HR professionals and if it matches the criteria for those positions, you will be contacted as soon as possible.

     3. Assessments

Depending on the position you are applying for, you may be asked to complete relevant language and/or technical tests. It may include online tests and an assessment center with exercises as analyses and business cases presentations, group discussions and other tests.

     4. Interviews

After passing all these tests, you will be invited for an interview or more interviews in our office.

FAQs about Deloitte Student Academy

  1. Is this an application for a job at Deloitte? No, we designed the Deloitte Student Academy as an educational program, with the main purpose to provide a high quality, real-world experience to a selected group of top students. We wish many of them would like to become members of our team; however, there is no such condition in order to take part in the program. 
  2. By participating in the program, am I increasing my chances to join Deloitte? Yes, we expect the most active and motivated participants to become short-listed candidates for our junior career opportunities. That means, they will skip the first steps of the regular selection process and will be invited directly to the final interview.
  3. How is the program structured? As an overview, there will be bimonthly, 3h modules, from December to April. We will agree with the participants an exact schedule, based on their preferences, exam session, vacation etc.
  4. How is the selection process organized? In the first stage, we will select the participants based on their applications submitted in our system. We warmly recommend you to pay attention to both the content and the look of your resume, which is your first “business card”. We do not request a formal cover letter; however, we will carefully review your answers to the pre-screening questions. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to answer these questions diligently. In the second stage, we will organize one short interview with the pre-selected applicants.
