    3+ years of professional software engineering experience
    2+ years of programming experience with Python
    Understanding of SAP architecture, modules, and integration patterns, with hands-on experience in SAP testing tools
    Experienced in SAP transactions for software installation, user and role maintenance, RFC setup and Transport organizer
    Experience with APIs (REST, GraphQL)
    Experience with Relational databases and ORMs (we use PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy).
    Experience troubleshooting production environments using observability and monitoring tools
    Software development experience: Understanding software design, design patterns, coding principles, and agile development methodologies
    Ability to develop and maintain automation frameworks: This skill involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks that are flexible, scalable, modular, and easy to maintain. This includes managing test data, handling reports, configuration management, etc.
    Experience with tracking and testing tools, including Test Case Management, Project Planning Tools and Issue Tracking
    Communication and collaboration skills: Being able to work within a team, effectively communicate with developers, testers, and other team members to understand requirements.
    Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience.
    Very good English skills.

    Testing philosophy
    Automation frameworks, especially Pytest
    Javascript basic knowledge
    Container technology, i.e., Docker, Kubernetes
    Security software development best practices
    Asynchronous tasks/queues. (Celery, AMQP, MQTT, Redis)

    Knowledge of CI / CD tooling, and Agile methodologies
    Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
    Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems
    Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
    Experience influencing software engineers' best practices within your team


    Working with leadership, product management, engineering, and the Onapsis research team. You will design, implement, and execute test procedures to ensure software features work as intended. Focused on automation and advancing automation capabilities, you will also design, build, and use test automation and automation tools to ensure our software always fulfills business solution requirements to protect our customers. Work collaboratively as part of a software engineer team aligned with cybersecurity researchers and product managers to iterate toward product definition and realization. Additionally, you will be working with the Architecture team to take the platform to the next level of maturity in terms of technologies, quality, and architecture design while advancing our quality engineering processes to deliver high-quality products and services.

    Develop software programs specifically targeted at SAP modules, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
    Utilize Python to build backend services, APIs, and scripting solutions to enhance application features and support front-end functionality.
    Work alongside other developers to contribute to the design and implementation of Python-based solutions, following best practices and coding standards.
    Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
    Continuously expand your knowledge and skills in Python development through self-learning and mentorship opportunities.
    Conduct thorough testing of both backend components, identifying and addressing any issues or bugs in a timely manner.
    Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues reported by customers or internal stakeholders, providing effective solutions and mitigations.
    Contribute to the improvement of development processes and workflows, advocating for best practices in software quality assurance and testing.
