    Requirements

    • Fulfils the role of first line support, assisting Store and Head Office personnel over the phone and ticketing system in solving content-related and IT problems emerging in their daily work activities.
    • Providing content-related information on the operation of computer hardware and software in stores and headquarter
    • Solving technical problems reported by store and headquarter colleagues.
    • In unusual situations or situations unrelated to first-line support competences, identifies persons responsible for solving a given problem.
    • Provides progress updates, via the web portal, on the telephone, by email or personally, to persons who have reported a problem.
    • Reports unusual or serious problems or procedural errors to the Second Line Specialists
    • Building and updating the Knowledge Base to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
    • Performing other tasks that result from the needs of the department.

    Responsibilities

    • Good baseline knowledge of IT hardware/software
    • Working knowledge of:
    ◦ Call tracking or helpdesk software – setup, diagnostic and troubleshooting of laptops, workstations, printers, scanners, copiers, etc.
    ◦ Microsoft operating systems and other software applications such as
    antivirus, remote support tools, etc.
    ◦ Setup and troubleshooting of internet connectivity and related hardware
    • Understanding of ITIL
    • Knowledge of POS systems will be an advantage.
    • Has one year of work experience
    • Has excellent problem-solving skills
    • Has the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users.
    • Has a patient and methodical approach
    • Speaks English at a good level
