    Role description

    The Learning and Development Consultant will play an active role in drafting and implementing the Learning & Development strategy for Booking Holdings Center of Excellence in Romania. Collaborating with the Learning Lead, the consultant will focus on understanding employees' development needs, identifying skill gaps, and recognizing growth opportunities.

    Based on a learning needs' analysis, the consultant will design and deliver learning products and programs for different audiences, whether internally or in partnership with external providers.

    Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

    • Conducts Learning Needs' Analysis and builds relationships with multiple stakeholders (leadership team, HRBPs etc.) in order to capture employees' development needs;
    • Contributes to the development and constant update of the L&D strategy and is actively involved in its execution;
    • Coordinates a diverse range of learning & development initiatives (craft & soft skills workshops and training sessions, leadership programs, team development & career development initiatives, learning newsletter, etc) from planning to impact evaluation;
    • Identifies and collaborates with external vendors to deliver the best suited learning products & programs for the identified needs;
    • Manages the LMS and e-learning platform;
    • Handles administrative work and ensures accurate reporting for the L&D function.

    Role Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent;
    • 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 years of experience in the design and delivery of learning initiatives for diverse audiences;
    • Ability to build partnerships and working relationships with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural setting;
    • Knowledge of Adult learning theories and diverse learning methods;
    • Data driven and tech savvy with the ability to use tools & systems to create reports and dashboards;
    • Strong planning and organizing skills, ideally with previous project management experience;
    • Excellent English written and spoken skills;
    • Strong communication skills, building and sustaining working relationships;
    • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills;
    • Ability to manage work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
