Java Engineer

Euro-Testing Software Solutions is a privately-owned software company specialized in Full-Service Software Testing, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Identification & Management, Application and Data Security, Static & Dynamic Code Analysis as well as, DevOps/DevSecOps, Robotic Process Automation, Implementation and Customization for Atlassian and Micro Focus (HPE) products.

-Min 7 years of Professional Experience in various Java Technologies across all stages of software development life cycle.
-Strong knowledge of Object-oriented design & programming & Java programming experience.
-Experience with Spring, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Web-services (Restful), Microservices, Oracle – SQL.
-Good understanding of SOA, RESTful and SOAP services.
-Experience with Data base: Oracle 9i/10g/11g and SQL Server.
-Experience working with messages brokers (queues), preferably Kafka.
-Experience in CI & CD tooling (Maven, Git, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
-Experience and affinity with IT Security by design SAST, DAST, IAST).
-Experience working with Agile and Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices.

Nice to have
-Experience with Campaign Management solutions (e.g Unica Campaign, Interact, SAS Viya ESP & ID)
-Experience with OpenShift, Service Mesh
-Experience working with containers (Docker / Kubernetes)
-Familiar with application servers IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat
-Would be a plus to have knowledge of C# and Python

-Develop and maintain software programs according to set coding standards.
-Contribute to continuous improvements of the development process.
-Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
-Translates functional analysis into technical analysis and developments, together with the parties involved.
-Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
-Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
-Be present and involved during the refinement sessions, break down stories into the tasks, estimate the story points to develop, test and harden a feature with your colleagues.
-Being an active team player who takes responsibility and ability to coach others to help their individual development.
-Collaborate with other developers to conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and ensure code quality.
