BAT ROMANIA IS LOOKING FOR A DATA MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

JOB TITLE: Data Management Specialist

FUNCTION: Finance

SUB FUNCTION: Data Management

CITY & COUNTRY: Bucharest, Romania

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

- Creation and maintenance of multiple Data Objects in accordance with the internal and external audit requirements
- Effective and timely delivery of Data Management processes according to the agreed deadlines and in line with audit recommendation
- Generate and share comprehensive and detailed knowledge about department performance and deliver training to new joiners
- Providing advice and support to other team members
- Ensuring accurate and timely update of TLDs delegated by Data Management (Task Level Descriptions) and the knowledge transfer within the DM team
- Ensure all controls in scope are in place as per the agreed SLA and internal procedures
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyse information needs and functional requirements
- Delivery of the DM work projects at highest performance standards requested by GBS Europe and in compliance with the group initiatives, as per the requests of superiors
- Identify and resolve data quality issues concerning Masterdata changes
- Raise issues to technical team, provide required information, manage the test scenarios, and make active follow-up on open incidents
- Initiate and lead Master Data continuous improvement projects
- Acting as back up for Team Leader when needed
- Maintaining, using, and improving already existing automation tools and workflows and creating new ones
- Makes effort to acquire / learn further skills / knowledge for personal development


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

- SAP knowledge will be considered a plus
- Data Management experience will be considered a plus
- High level of Microsoft Office suites knowledge (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point)

- Strongly understanding of customers business
- Demonstrates a positive attitude while focusing on completing tasks or goals
