Proven experience as executive director or in other managerial position;
Experience in developing strategies and plans;
Experience in managing budgets;
Entrepreneurial mindset, with innovative approach to business planning;
Dynamic and charismatic team player who enjoys being the public face of an organization;
Ability to apply successful networking techniques;
Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance;
In depth knowledge of public sector principles and managerial best practices;
An analytical mind capable for “out-of-the-box” thinking to solve problems;
Outstanding organization and leadership abilities;
Excellent communication (oral and written) and public speaking skills;
English skills – advanced level (written and spoken).
For our business partner, an important Business Association – public affairs, we are hiring an Executive Director in Bucharest.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies aiming to promote the organization’s mission and “voice”;
Create complete business plans for the attainment of goals and objectives set by the board of directors;
Build an effective network of support of stakeholders with the purpose of supporting Association activity.
Ensure adherence of the organization’s daily activities and long-term plans to established policies and legal guidelines;
Direct and oversee projects;
Forge and maintain relations of trust with shareholders, partners and external authorities Government, Parliament, business associations, employers associations, trade unions, international entities (OCDE, CE, European Parliament, ILO, SVIA, etc.);
Monitor the process for elaboration of the legislation and public policies;
Draft position papers, legislative amendments , briefs, in collaboration with the representatives of the Association’ members;
Develop and implement advocacy campaigns;
Act as the spokesperson and public relations representative of the association in ways that strengthen its brand awareness (media, TV);
Manage the organization’s financial and non-financial position;
Devise remedial actions for any identified issues and conduct crisis management when necessary;
Attendance at all internal meetings of the association;
Acts as an advisor for the board of association.
