Intel Open Day will take place on January 27, 2011 at Hotel Novotel.

Tanya Dreke, Operations Manager at Open Source Technology Center will tell you about Intel R&D Center in Romania and our Software projects. Dr. Mark Harris, Professor at Bucharest Polytechnic University and Director of the Intel® Higher Education & Research Programs for the EMEA Region will deliver a lecture on Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Then Vasily Komolov, Account Manager at Intel Staffing department will briefly talk about Intel benefits and Bogdan Diaconescu, our Senior Software Engineering Manager will talk about current career opportunities at Intel.

Prof. Dr. Mark Harris is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in the high-tech industry and is Director of the Intel® Higher Education & Research Programs for the EMEA Region, responsible for advancing innovation in key areas of Intel, collaborating with top universities in EMEA to expand university curricula, engage in focused research, and encourage students to pursue a range of opportunities for technical study, research and Entrepreneurship. The Intel® Higher Education & Research Programs are successfully running in over 150 Universities in >25 EMEA countries.

Mark holds Masters Degrees in Computer Science and in Economics from the Technical University in Munich as well as Professorships as Associated Professor for Technology Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the University Politehnica of Bucharest and at the University St. Kliment Ohridski of Sofia.
