Industrial Engineer - Power Electronics

Our Industrial Engineering team from Vitesco Brasov is looking for a new colleague!

What you will do as an Industrial Engineer:

• Definition of lean production concepts and evaluation of needed invest based on product value stream data;
• Development, discussion and tracking of DFM measures within the global project team, Leading of DFM activities;
• Definition and specification of the production line as well as all corresponding production machines (focus on screwing, pressing and dispensing machines);
• Leading of the production line sourcing process, discussion of specifications with suppliers as well as technical guiding of the negotiation process with several suppliers;
• Leading of the production line development process together with the supplier: technical discussion of the design of each individual machine based on process know how, if needed involvement of Vitesco internal process specialists, Alignment and tracking of the industrialization timing;
• Leading of the machine acceptance, definition, discussion and tracking of LOP points until they are closed;
• Definition and alignment of the production layout within the plant;
• Support of process related trials and experiments.

What will you need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree within electrical or mechanical engineering;
• Several years of working experience within automotive and/or electronics production;
• Experience within production ramp up or production;
• Skilled English know-how (fluently speaking);
• Good knowledge within MS Office;
• Good communication skills, efficient working style.
