Building Future Skills at Discover

Hi! I’m Ilinca, a Talent & Leadership Discover, and I’m currently in my final rotation.
If you want to be part of our team, check out our 2027 Discover Graduate opportunities:
We often hear that, to keep pace with changes in the job market, we need to step outside our comfort zones, look at things from new perspectives, and meet different people. But to do all of that, you also need a place that consistently gives you those opportunities.
For me, Discover has been exactly that place. The program challenges you to explore, learn, and develop skills that will be valuable no matter where your career takes you. And in a job market that is changing so quickly that, sometimes, you have barely learned one thing before the next new one appears, I believe the ability to adapt is more important than ever.
Through the 3 rotations, you get to discover completely different perspectives and constantly step out of your comfort zone. It can seem overwhelming at first, asking yourself a lot of questions and trying to understand new processes, acronyms, and ways of working. At least for me, that’s where the growth began, and before you know it, you’re developing adaptability, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and the ability to continually learn, skills that we’re increasingly hearing will make a difference in the future.
All of these experiences also help you better understand how the professional world is evolving, as technology, automation, and AI are constantly transforming the way we work. Discover gives you the opportunity to see these changes from the inside, experiment, and learn directly from real projects.
For me, one of the most valuable parts of the program was the diversity of experiences and people I met. Each rotation helped me see things from a new perspective and better understand how different teams contribute to the same goal. I think this big picture perspective is one of the most valuable things you take away from the program.
