Be an Innovator Student is a challenging idea contest for students in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Romania, hosted by BearingPoint.

In 2019 the first time in cooperation with Wayra. Wayra, Telefónica's start-up track, identifies and promotes growth for innovative start-up teams and emerging technology companies. As part of a so-called venture client model, Wayra offers access to a comprehensive customer base and technology network as well as financial resources and coaching support.

The team that succeeds in convincing the jury with their idea has the chance to present it at the grand finale in Munich in May. The winning team will receive a prize money as well as the support of BearingPoint and Wayra to transform their idea into a successful startup.

Big News!

For the first time the Be an Innovator Student finale will be upgraded with an additional networking pre-event on the evening before!

The 10 final teams are invited to come to Munich already on the 9th of May to participate in the networking pre-event on the evening before the finale. The pre-event includes a Speed Pitch Coaching and a Get Together with the other startups, the jury and potential investors afterwards. This provides you the perfect opportunity to practice for the final pitch, to network and get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere.

GO DIGITAL - BearingPoint supports creative minds!

You have an innovative idea or project that fits the motto “Go Digital”? You are a student at an university in Germany, Austria, Switzerland or Romania? You are motivated to take the next step with your idea? Then apply to Be an Innovator Student 2019! You have the chance to submit your project idea to BearingPoint, and after a pre-selection to be invited to present your idea at the grand final in Munich on 10th May 2019.

Winners will be awarded with an attractive prize money and the winning team will additionally receive one year support of BearingPoint and Wayra - the world´s most global, connected and technological open innovation hub - in order to transform the idea into a successful start-up.
