ING Hubs Romania offers 150 services in software development, data management, non-financial risk & compliance, audit and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide, with the help of 1400 high-performing engineers, risk and operations professionals.

Formerly known as ING Tech, as of 2022 we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities under the name of ING Hubs. We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub in Bucharest, then steadily expanded our range to include even more services and competencies.

ING Hubs Romania now operates from two locations - Bucharest and Cluj. Our colleagues engage across tribes and boarders to deliver consolidated services that support ING in making the difference.

Inside ING Group, Hubs act as global capability centres that foster craftmanship, focused technology investments, automation and operations activities at scale. Cross-locations disciplines and multi-disciplinary teams build integrated services by merging tech, processes and operations for an improved customer experience.

Sunt multe oportunitati. Tot ce trebuie sa faci e sa fii curios si dornic sa inveti si vei primi suportul de care ai nevoie. Asta am ales eu sa fac si am avut ocazia sa calatoresc si sa cunosc colegi din toata lumea, m-am bucurat mult de experiensa asta.

Desi sunt proiecte la care lucram pentru o perioada mai lunga de timp, avem si taskuri care nu sunt recurente, iar asta impiedica instalarea rutinei.

In ultimii ani am invatat cat de important este rolul HR-ului pentru ca sunt inconjurat zilnic de oameni cu care rezonez, pot colabora si cu care ma pot vedea si in afara biroului. (kudos echipei de HR si managerilor pentru treaba excelenta pe care o fac, nu pot lauda suficient acest lucru)

Cu ce aplicatie ti-ar placea sa salvezi lumea? 

Daca ar fi  sa am un impact  asupra celor care umbla prin lumea pe care o numim acasa, as crea o aplicatie  care sa ne aminteasca, ca o amintire pretioasa, ca speranta si credinta stralucesc si in cele mai negre zile, iar drumul ne va duce spre cea mai buna sau catre urmatoarea experienta din calatoria noastra.

The ING International Talent Programme is a tailor-made 2-year graduate programme that provides all the necessary tools to reach your potential in different areas of interest.

What can you expect over the course of your traineeship?    

  • International onboarding - following your local onboarding introduction, you will fly to our headquarters in Amsterdam for a two week-long international onboarding event
  • Global events -  access to yearly 2-3 weeks global events with other ING International Talent Programme talents from all around the world 
  • Job rotations - insights in various business units during the first 18 months and work abroad into one of our ING countries for 3 - 6 months, until you will start in your first dedicated assignment in ING
  • Trainings & learning experiences - in different business lines to boost your knowledge and skill set
  • Mentoring – our experts will support your personal and professional development through regular feedback and coaching.

What International Talent Programmes are waiting for you to join?

  1. Risk track @ING Hubs Romania – as a Risk trainee you’ll join diverse teams that will teach you how to identify, measure, analyze and assess the likelihood of risks in a tech environment.
  2. IT Track @ING Hubs Romania – as an IT trainee you’ll contribute to what the 1300+ specialists working in ING Tech Romania are doing: developing IT solutions that impact millions of clients worldwide and enabling the digital transformation of ING. 
  3. Analytics Track @ING Hubs Romania - As an analytics trainee, you’ll use your passion for data to build models and write algorithms that make banking better, smarter and more personal. Your work will have a direct impact on people in over 40 countries worldwide.

Selection process

Step 1: Submit your online application by selecting the track you would like to apply for.
Step 2: Take the online assessments - Should you pass the first screening, we will invite you to take three online tests to assess your ability to understand, interpret, and evaluate information, and to determine if you align with the ING culture.
Step 3: HR interview - After passing the tests, we’ll invite you for an interview with a HR professional. We will ask you competency-based questions with the input of the results of your online assessment.
Step 4: Business panel - The final step is an interview with two representatives of the senior management from your chosen track and an HR expert. If you succeed, you will receive an offer for an employment contract with ING.
