What do we do?

We analyze business requests and identify the most suitable IT solutions. More specifically, we:

• Understand and, when necessary, challenge business requirements.

• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.

• Provide effort estimates for analysis activities.

• Actively participate in solution design and Agile ceremonies.

• Support the development team, including developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.

• Assess feasibility, benefits, and risks, providing recommendations based on expertise and best practices.

• Analyze the impact of business requirements on existing systems and the overall IT landscape, in collaboration with Solution Architects.

• Analyze and design Java-based applications ranging from high-volume, low-latency systems to mission-critical applications running in high-availability environments.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

• Embrace the "You build it, you run it" mindset by being involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from discovery workshops and solution design to production support and maintenance.

• Perform sanity testing to validate delivered functionality.

• Provide Level 3 support for live applications and assist in impact analysis following production incidents.

• Integration concepts, patterns, and technologies (Message Queues, Web Services, SCA, Databases, etc.)

• Jira for task and issue management

• Windows and Linux operating systems

• Databases: MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, IBM DB2, and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)

• UML design and modeling tools

• API testing and integration tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.)

• Knowledge-sharing platforms (Confluence, etc.)

Experience Needed

Must Have Skills

• Positive attitude and strong team player mindset.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across Technology, Business and Operations.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis combined with solid technical knowledge.

• Proven experience in leading functional design activities and requirements definition within Agile environments.

• Ability to challenge, refine, prioritize and independently drive analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Strong capability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications while ensuring alignment with technical architecture and system constraints.

• Working knowledge of databases (preferably MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or cloud-based solutions), including the ability to understand and validate data structures and queries.

• Hands-on experience with integration concepts and patterns, including APIs, JMS, and Kafka, from a business and analysis perspective.

• Basic hands-on experience in testing mobile applications (Android and iOS) and validating alignment with business requirements.

• Advanced English language skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Abstract thinking and structured approach to complex topics.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Results-driven and delivery-oriented mindset.
