Product Operations Engineer

Cmed is as an innovative full service, technology-led CRO and developer of advanced eClinical & smart data capture technologies. The company has two divisions: Cmed Clinical Services and Cmed Technology.

Minimum qualifications
* At least 1 years’ experience in an ITC or similar role
* Bachelor degree in a technical field
* Awareness and/or experience of working in a regulated environment
* Good understanding of computer networking technologies
* Good command of English, both written and verbal


Preferred qualifications
* Working knowledge of the Linux operating system
* Work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
* Flexibility in multitasking and focus
* Good investigative and meticulous approach to activities and tasks
* Confidence in dealing with diverse range of customers
* Ability to deal with conflict and negotiate positive outcomes
* Understanding and empathy with the customer issue and its impact on them
* Team player

* Identify repeating issues/root causes and flag to management
* Connect to application servers, monitor application services and take action where required
* Analyse application logs, error messages and ticket information
* Read and interpret server logs
* Identify existing bugs in reported issues
* Identify steps to reproduce and raise bugs
* Assist with complex application issues, including devising workarounds
* Run existent scripts on a request basis
* Support maintenance of product operations applications
* Build and maintain application servers and services
* Run and support ad-hoc scripts and tools for use by the Product Operations Team
* Plan, manage and implement installation and upgrade for new software releases
* Update and improve the knowledge base
* Prepare all relevant documentation to support full audit traceability
* Take responsibility for following appropriate processes and ensuring documentation is complete
* Work on a shift pattern to provide extended support coverage (morning/afternoon shifts)
