Junior Software Developer

Job description
The Junior Software Developer is a member of the Core Banking Development Team, working with a wide range of IT technologies. The candidate must be able to develop source code for application modules based on technical specifications and design/development standards.

Responsibilities
• Consult technical specifications;
• Develop code based on the technical specifications;
• Insure IT architecture consistency& alignment;
• Deliver the source code and the updated technical specifications with the details about the technical solution.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience;
• 1-2 years of Software Development; knows one programming language or development tool;
• Basic understanding of application development lifecycle; 
• Basic understanding of databases and application services; 
• Strong analytical skills (ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions), organizational and communication skills;   
• Must be a self-starter and a quick study;
• Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills;
• Excellent time management skills;
• English proficiency is a must (Excellent verbal and written communication skills).
Additional Desired Skills
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Oracle ADF, Java;
• Experience with any defect tracking systems, version control systems and test management systems;
• Experience in Banking industry.
