Requirements

We are looking for a Freight Forwarder who will be responsible for coordinating and managing international freight shipments, ensuring on-time deliveries, operational excellence, and compliance with applicable transportation and customs regulations. The role involves close collaboration with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality logistics services and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The Freight Forwarder will contribute to process optimization, operational efficiency, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

Qualifications and Competencies

-Bachelor''s degree in a relevant field.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, international transportation, logistics operations, or a similar role.
-Knowledge of international transportation regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
-Experience in customer and stakeholder management.
-Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken.
-Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
-Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
-Accountability, ownership, and a strong team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

-Coordinate and manage international freight forwarding activities for air, sea, and road shipments.
-Organize transportation with carriers, agents, and logistics partners, ensuring efficient and competitive solutions.
-Prepare, verify, and process required documentation, including Bills of Lading, AWBs, commercial invoices, customs documents, and other transportation-related documentation.
-Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates, proactive communication, and solutions to customers and other stakeholders.
-Ensure compliance with international transportation regulations, customs requirements, Incoterms, and internal procedures.
-Collaborate closely with customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
-Investigate and resolve operational issues, delays, documentation discrepancies, and customer inquiries.
-Maintain strong professional relationships with customers, carriers, and business partners.
-Provide support and guidance to junior colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices.
-Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance in transportation and logistics systems.
-Monitor operational performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of service levels.
-Participate in the standardization, optimization, and improvement of operational processes.
-Prepare operational reports and provide relevant information to management and customers when required.
-Comply with internal procedures, quality standards, and DSV values.
-Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company policies, internal procedures, and applicable legal requirements.
