Workflow Builder Designer - Tool Development Engineer

We are looking for a Workflow Builder Designer. In this position you will be responsible to drive the technical development, integration, and continuous improvement of the Workflow Builder platform in order to enable the efficient, scalable, and user-friendly automation of complex engineering processes. The role ensures that the solution is aligned with the defined architecture, leverages the preferred technology stack, and supports the successful adoption of the platform across the organization.

• Defines and designs technical workflows within the Workflow Builder platform.
• Translates business and technical requirements into implementable workflow concepts.
• Coordinates the integration of heterogeneous engineering tools via standardized interfaces and microservices.
• Ensures alignment with the defined IT architecture and technology stack.
• Collaborates closely with stakeholders, developers, and architects across functions
  and teams.
• Supports the automation and optimization of complex engineering workflows.
• Defines and maintains interfaces, data flows, and system interactions across all solution layers.
• Ensures workflows are implemented in a scalable, maintainable, secure, and user-friendly way.
• Acts as the technical point of contact for workflow definition and implementation.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of the platform and its underlying applications.

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in software configuration, solution architecture, or IT project implementation.
• Strong understanding of web applications, microservices, and system integration.
• Strong understanding of workflows and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of Workflow Builder is a plus.
• Practical experience with cloud-based architectures, preferably in AWS.
• Experience with at least one or more of the following technologies:
  System Engineering, JSON, SQL Server, Phyton and/or Powershell, Rest-API
• Ability to work in a hybrid application landscape with diverse systems and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Project Management - Basic Level.
• Automotive system/ business processes specific know-how - Basic Level.
• English - Advanced Level.
